Course Overview

This course consists of a full day of didactic lectures, designed to keep the dermatologist and dermasurgeon abreast of the rapid changes occurring in the areas ofHealthcare Reform, Hair Loss in Women, Cicatricial Alopecia, Ano-genital Skin Cancer,  Hidradenitis Suppurativea, and Thermal PDT.

Learning Objectives

Dermatology and cutaneous surgery are increasingly complex fields of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and procedures that require continual education over the course of a career. The Colorado Dermatologic Society sets to achieve the following objectives:

1. Discuss AAD legislative & state priorities

2. Discuss the Affordable Care Act, maneuvers & consequences

3. How to asses, treat, & council women with common hair disorders in effective time-efficient manner

4. Understand the need for multidisciplinary approach for treatment of severe disease

5. Recognize relative frequency of various malignancy on vulcar, anal, penile, & scrotal skin

6. Understand the practical application of modulating temperature to enhance PDT effect

At the conclusion of the conference, the participant should be able to apply this knowledge and implement the presented changes in his or her clinical practice.

Poster Sessions

Poster sessions will be available for viewing during breaks. If you would like to submit a poster, please send the poster abstract to nicole@goddardassociates.com by August 11, 2014. Research that has been previously presented is acceptable.

Exhibit Information

6’ draped banquet table & 2 people for lunch included (stand alone exhibits MUST fit in the six-foot space provided. Please contact CDS if you have a stand alone exhibit.)

7:30am - 9:30am | 1st break, Exhibits: 10:15am

Exhibitor Tear-down

3:20pm (After last break. All breaks & refreshments are located in the exhibit hall)


Please specify with the CDS prior to the meeting whether you need electricity, power cords, etc. There may be an additional cost for electricity.


Storage space at the hotel is limited. Please take into consideration when shipping materials prior to the start of the meeting.

Exhibitor is responsible for making shipping arrangements for booth materials. If you plan on using the hotel to ship anything out (even if you have your own pre-printed shipping labels) you must fill out the attached hotel shipping form with valid credit card information. There is an $8 handling fee for each box and an additional $4 for each box for FedEx ground pick up. All items to be shipped out need to be ready to go, with shipping labels, and the Inverness Hotel shipping form on top of boxes to be shipped out. All items can be left at your exhibit table for pick up. (Inverness shipping form is attached)

Deadline, Cancellation & Regulations

Registration deadline is August 11, 2014. Registration may be accepted after the deadline, space available, but the CDS cannot guarantee inclusion in the on-site meeting materials. 

Cancellations in writing to the CDS by August 11th are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations after August 11th are non-refundable.

Exhibit tables will be assigned by the CDS based on special needs of the exhibiting company. The CDS reserves the right to assign all spaces, rearrange the floor plan, and re-located exhibit tables as needed. The exhibitor may not assign or sublet space without prior written approval from the CDS.

Registration - $1,750

Please remit payment with registration, however the registration may be faxed or emailed to the CDS office in advance of payment to hold exhibit space. Payment must be received by Thursday, September 11, 2014 in order to participate.

By returning the registration form, you are committing to support the CDS 2014 Annual Meeting. Exhibiting company is responsible for exhibit fee, even if the representative fails to attend.
