About Us

The Colorado Dermatologic Society was established in 1959 and currently has a membership of over 190, scattered throughout Colorado.

The CDS is a statewide association of dermatologists dedicated to quality, safety, and collegiality in the delivery of dermatologic care. It is committed to promoting key advocacy initiatives to establish meaningful and timely policy.

The Society conducts monthly educational and business meetings, and hosts an annual meeting each Fall. Journal clubs are sponsored by the Society throughout the city.

The Society cares about the dermatologic health of Coloradoans. To this end, the Society monitors and works to positively influence legislation that affects the health of all Colorado residents. In addition, the Society supports various events held throughout the State which have been developed to encourage sun protection and general skin health.

The Society wishes to cultivate collegial interactions among all general and specialty medical societies.
